NICE TO MEET YOU!
Lana Scott Stringer is a Brooklyn-based graduate of Samford University's theater and film programs. Recent works include Plant, a full-length original play being produced at 7 Stages in Atlanta in 2026, co-writing the book of American Game, a new musical developed at TUTS in 2025 and in New York in 2026, as well as Acknowledging the Elephant of My Unborn Child, an original play produced by Anna Beth Riggs. Other works include a full-length devised collaborative theater adaptation of The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, short plays for Overnight Theatre, a theater company of which she is the cofounder, and a full-length play, Cardio, for Samford's student-run Underground Theater.
Dramaturgy credits include being dramaturg and associate producer for Harrison Theater's production of The Laramie Project. She’s also done dramaturgy for new musical Starting Up by HBO’s Creative Lead Producer Garett Press, First Kiss Theater, and Czechoslovak-American Marionette Theater.
